Hola Lima!

So, I've arrived in Lima after a ridiculous day of travelling followed by Lima aiport's endless baggage carousel, with the 6 same bags being paraded for an hour before the weary eyes of around 200 travellers fresh off a 13 hour flight before I was finally and ecsatically reunited with my backpack and off I went to meet my taxi driver, booked for me by friend Alex. Never has a cardboard sign with my name on it looked so much like pure joy.
Anway, here I am, staying at Alex's lovely flat in the Miraflores district of Lima, near the sea front, for the next few days until we fly to Easter Island.
Looking forward to eating and drinking exciting Peruvian treats and seeing Lima, hopefully I'll have some pics to post soon too.

Oh yeah, Iberia airlines showed 3 movies during the flight:
The Social Network (7/10)
The Switch (5/10) Mostly for time-killing value.
and some teen thing that I didn't watch with lots of kids running about and learning how to sail.It looked 2/10.

  1. I think the teen thing with the sailing was charlie st. cloud... very difficult to tell from your description though... i would give it a -2 for having Zac Efron in it... innit
